So, I finished my poem. First time writing in years.
“My Future Wife”
She will be beautiful,
Inside and out.
Her eyes,
Will be the light of my dark days.
Her smile,
Will keep me going.
Her heart,
Will be the reason why I fell in love with her.
My future wife,
Will be my best friend.
I will take her out on random picnics,
Even when we’re 80.
Staying up all night,
Looking at her beauty,
Glow against the night sky.
My future wife,
I will love her at 100,
Like I would at 25.
When she crys,
I will kiss her softly on her forehead,
Just to make her pain,
Be my pain.
My future wife,
Will be loved.
They say, “till death do us part”,
But my heart will still be hers,
Until the day after eternity.
